Farm-Stay

Our Vintage Caravans

coming soon: shepherd's huts

We have goats who need a little company while they graze different areas of our ranch. Staying in one of our Shepherd's Huts is an opportunity to completely unplug and unwind. There is no internet at Tierra Soul's Hop Canyon location nor running water in the Shepherd's Huts so you will be living as simply as possible while staying comfy and cozy. Showers and composting toilets are located in our beautiful outdoor bath and shower area. Join our Newsletter to hear when these special spaces will be available for Farm Stays!

Starting with The Corner Caravan, our 1960 Barth Caravan and the oh so cute BURRITO which we moved from our Portland location to the Tierra Soul Village Farm gloriously nestled at the beginning of Hop Canyon in the Magdalena Mountains.

The Corner Caravan, our 1960 silver Barth Caravan. Originally a luxury trailer, the Barth is classy and cool - and look at that incredible location! The Caravan sleeps 2 and has a full kitchen and bathroom with cute compost toilet.

Moving our urban farm from Portland, Oregon to the New Mexican mountains has been a fun and exciting challenge. We began with a tiny test garden, then graduated to a full kitchen garden, and then moved to our off-grid acreage where we are designing a small-scale regenerative ranching project with our growing herd, manada mágica, as well as reestablishing our bee sanctuary / honey spa / artist hive. We are excited to start inviting Farm-Stayers to join us. We will start with campers and move toward offering a slew of vintage caravans and off-grid shepherd's huts. Join us up the canyon - just minutes from the village for a relaxing get away.

Ask us about bringing your own tent or small caravan for a Farm-Stay.
We have designated 4 tent and 2 RV sites and even a Horse Hotel where you can join us for a retreat in this paradise.

bambi

Bambi is the newest addition to our suite of caravans. Quaint and cozy, Bambi is a vintage Airstream with all the charm and everything you need (kitchenette, cute compost toilet and and even a little wood stove) for your next retreat in the canyon!

The Roosevelt Elementary School was built in 1918 along with a separate High School that has since burned down. Both were designed by eminent architectural firm Trost & Trost. This massive structure boasts a 14,000 sf footprint, 14 ft celings and wood floors throughout. It is the largest privately owned building in Magdalena. We are slowly and lovingly restoring the cosmetic damages and plan to open in stages as soon as possible! Join our Newsletter to hear when these special spaces will be available for Farm Stays!
