The Roosevelt Schoolhouse was built in 1918 and used as the school, or part of it, until the 1990s. It was revived for awhile as the Roosevelt Arts Center and then sat empty for many years.

Many locals remember going to school here and we wanted to make it available in some way to the community - so we have decided to eventually open a café in the center with one wing of studios for residencies and short term rentals and the other wing as an artist marketplace.
