welcome to our FARM-STAY
Moving our urban farm from Portland, Oregon to the rural New Mexican mountains has been a fun and exciting challenge. We began with a tiny test garden, then graduated to a full kitchen garden, and then moved to our off-grid acreage where we are designing a small-scale permaculture / regenerative ranching project with our growing herd, manada mágica, as well as reestablishing our bee sanctuary / honey spa / artist hive. We are excited to start inviting Farm-Stayers to join us. We will start with campers and move toward offering a slew of vintage caravans, bell tents, and off-grid shepherd’s huts. Join us up the stunning hop canyon – just minutes from the village for a relaxing get away.

Set up your own tent along the tree-shaded arroyo or bring your small caravan and park in one of our designated dry RV spots. Either way, enjoy the quiet and simplicity of this stunning canyon.
Water is available at the community well. Showers and composting toilets are to be found in the bath house . . .

Starting with The Corner Caravan, our 1960 Barth Caravan and the oh so cute BURRITO which we moved from our Portland location to the Tierra Soul Village Farm gloriously nestled at the mouth of Hop Canyon in the Magdalena Mountains.
Each caravan is equipped with comfy bed, propane cooktop & kitchen essentials and outdoor seating area where you can rest and relax. Water is available at the community well. Showers and composting toilets are to be found in the bath house . . .

The Lodge
Right now we have a high ceiling-ed Fifth Wheel that we call home and share with Farm-Stayers when needed. The Tiny Lodge has a full kitchen and bathroom and indoor and outdoor seating.
We have a community Fire-Pit to enjoy where there isn’t a fire ban, as well as a large grill and picnic tables.
The Bath House
We are working on creating a sweet bath house area with hot tub, sauna, composting toilets and solar showers.

Ceremony Circle
Our ceremony circle includes a ceremony spiral, and will soon welcome a meeting tipi and a temazcalli traditional sweat house.
